Woke up late (9am) this morning. Had my B'fast & looged into my computer, checking on blogs fr family(updated ones). Then cheched my e-mails, glad to rec wedding pics of Alex & Pauline, which was sent by Mun. They were all romantic, natural & beautifully taken...They are so happy, so in love & indeed a wonderfully matched couples. I wish them all the best in their forthcoming new chapter in life as husband/man & wife... May God Bless them richly as they journey thru' life together!!

Then, I went into my Blog, which I have not done so for a long time!! Was really surprised that my blog is all different, changed with color & beautiful designed!! My dear Christine, she did it for me as promised!! In fact, I couldn't recognized or believed that it was my blog and that I have logged into some other 'stuff'', (which happened to me all the time, when I try/play' with the computer hi..hi...)

After realizing that it was indeed my blog, I was so happy, delighted & elated... At last, my blog is camparable to others, readable, nice, neat & colorful!! I like the way, color & the artistic blog site that she designed for me...With this new beautiful, attractive blog, I guess, fr now on, I will be spending more time & consistent with my blog updating, she is very artistic & telented indeed, thanks to you, Christine!! You made my day....

More importantly, in the midst of her busy & hundreds of''thing to do' list, she included mine!!I appreciate it fr the very bottom of my heart and I can't thank her enough hi..hi...God bless her!!

We started planting our flowers, plants & vegetable yesterday... It is so nice that the Spring is finally in it's full swing. Life, activities, laughters, joy, happy laughters, joggers and walkers are seen everywhere, indeed it is the best time of the year, I always feel better, strong, energetic & active during the spring, I love Spring!! It means Life Anew for me...

3/9/2008 - A Change in Time....
Today is a very Happy & Good Day for us, it's the Spring Time Saving Day!! (The Day that I have been waiting for since the beginning of the long, dreadful winter!!) Today, we get to turn our 'clock' forward for 1 precious hour... The Day get bright & Shine eariler & it feels really Good to be able to see & enjoy the beautiful Sunshine for 1 extra hour everyday.... This change started lasy year, it used to be in the beginning of spring time, which is probably in late March!!
It is good cos everything get to start w a much brighter day. The sunshine means a lot. It makes one feels refresh, glad & ready to start the Day w a 'brighter' attitude!! I just Love it. Esp my hse, which receives plenty of sunshine everyday....Well, we can enjoy more of it now!!
Spent most day in church, the morning service as well as the evening.
I took some pic too..The garden is so barren, everywhere is cold... I was so Happy & Surprised that the turlips bulbs that we planted has 'sprung' out for abt 1 - 2 inches...Never thought that they started so early & bravely despite the cold weaher.... So, seeing the return of turlips signify the soon comimg of the Beautiful SPRING!! Can't wait to see my 1st branch of turlips blooming around my house, they must be beautiful, colorful & gorgeous!!!
Well, can't believe that we sailed thru' this winter so nicely & comfortably... Thank God that this has been a really mild winter for us. Not much episode of snow, only a few 'little' winter 'snow storm ' of 1 - 3 inches and also they r the come, visit & gone type of snow, no accumulation at all!! So far, that was the most fantastic winter for us. Looking back at the weather for this year, we think that the snow had decided to migrae to China instead hi..hi...
I hope not, cos the China folks r Not used/ ready to go thru' long winter season. It had caused them a surprised & terrible time this year!!!
Anyway, I am thankful to God for keeping us through this winter w much joy, happiness, fun, comfort & blessing...Looking forward to a new day everday & count our blessings....

It is 3am on 2/21/2008. The last day of CNY celebration!! All the fun, excitement and happy gathering had come to an end, a year full of promisese w daily 'routine' had began... Hope tha it is a year of more success, motivation, love & joy for everyone and ost of all may God lives in everyone's life, blessed & guide us along the way...
It was quiet & simple CNY for the two of us. Andrew had been working hard during these weeks but he enjoyed them...Despir being busy, we managed to spend much time together betweeen ourselves, w friends, eating out & having fun!! Had lots of delicious food w friends as well as from Cat, who cares for us very very much, she also gave us the 'biggest' ang pau ever!! May she be well, happy & successful everyday.
As for me, the best event was to finally complete the long & awful IN Ab treatment of Vancomycin. What a relief when the Picc line was being pulled on the last day of 6 weeks!!! I am now free, happy & feeling great in every area, stayed active, going outdoor for walks whne weather is good and doing indoor ex whenever I am being locked in the hse...We bought a Trembelin (Bounder exerciser) last week. It has the power & provened effectiveness of improving health, esp the immune system which is so vital in keeping our health to it's optimum... I enjoyed doing it very much, it is a great ex for me, one who is immune insufficient. I believe it will help me in many ways, stronger, halthier & happier...
I called home to talk & checked on my loved ones frequently. It was so good to hear about all the good things & time that they hv over there... Oh, how I missed them....We will be going for a mini vacation to AC this afternoon, can't wait for a gala time there!!
Will continue to be strong & motivated in the new year, feeling powerful w positive attitude everyday when I wake up to start a new day!!! Most continue w a closer walk w God everyday. The same go for Andrew & all my loved ones....

Today, 2/7/2008 is Chinese New Year, year of the rat! Times passes by so quickly, yr after yr easily w-out much of our realization!! I give thanks to God for letting me see year, day & minute... Counting & thanking Him for is unfailing blessing, unconditional love & guidence in my life, I will continue to serve & honour Him in every area of my life, let Him be the master of my destiny.....A new year with a closer walk with Him everyday!!
Have been calling my family often lately to catch up, to share the happiness of this joyous festival that I grew up with & one that I hv missed so much with them over the phone.... felt good every time after talking & listening to the updates fr home. It recalled and missed , all the fun, happy & meaning family gathering/reunion ...(unlike here, not many people r aweare of it's existence, very quiet!!)
We went to China Town(Flushing to shop & feel the CNY atmosphere, it was a nice time w spent there...Feel very 'at home') Then 2 nights ago, we had CNY dinner/gathering at the Zhang's, we has steam boat, lots of food & sea food... yummy!! Czt also cooked for a big CNY dinner last Fri, big Alaska crab, big lobster, big steamed fish & shark fin soup, that was a real great CNY treat.....
Last evening,e went out to Cat's reataurant for CNY Eve dinner w brother Stevens, Sharon & bro Llyod fr church, they enjoyed the food very, very much & prctically clean up the plate hi... We had a wonderful time of fellowship & sharing, they r very nice group of friends whom we have, Thank God for them...
Called home at 12mn & as usual everybody is in Allan's hse. I spoke to most of them & very happily greeted one another with well wishes, good health & most of all, kong hee fatt choy!!
Kwan had distributed the ang paus on our behalf, they were all very happy & appreciative. Spoke to eldest sis-in-law & eldest bro, reg some issue that happened...I wish that aall these good times will remain forever and ever, let Love binds us close together as a big & extended family... S'times, I lost count of the number of members in our family hi..hi.... More so, when there r more & more new generation coming/adding into the family tree, may it continue to grow & groe & grow...and then multiply & keep multiplying ....
2 days ago we had a buyer for the 'long waited' sale of our co-op. Thank & Praise God! We commit this matter to Him to make this sale a final & go thru' successfully w-out problem. Also, finally, today was the day of my last dose if I.V Vanco ab. The visiting Nr came to remove the PICC line at 2pm, after I admin the last dose at 12non. I wa so Happy & glad that the 6 weeks, which in the beginning seemed like 6 yrs and never ending, had finally came to an end, (just b4 the CNY!!). I will be well & no more of this recurrence again, I believe & trust God as He had healed me and everything will be in His control Amen!!
It is almost 1 am now, I am going to sleep and looking forward to a great start when I wake up
in the morning.

Today is a very COLD day!! Outside was very sunny & with bright sun shine, but outside was bittery cold!! (rocolk breaking day) Everyone is bundled up fr the top to the bottom, looks like an eskimo indeed....
We went to church as usual & had a wonderful time worshipping the Lord & the congregation. All of them still showed their concern & care for me, I told them that I am all well & OK now!! Just gotta finished the IV ab treatment, hopefully by the end of the month. Initially I was really sick, sleepy & tired w the IV treatment, but thank God that I am tolerating much better now, not as tired & sleepy as b4, Praise God!
I started walking around the block wearing my i-Pod since last week (well & tightly bundled up, of course) and s'time in the hse, stairs or outside at the driveway. I am doing well & increased the time & amt of ex gradually....I feel good after moving around & being active! I am proud of myself & so do Andrew....
We installed the Alkaline Water filter system on 01/12/2008 and r drinking it faithfully & happily everyday since then. It's benefit will certainly help in improving our health, esp mine... My BS level is coming down nicely which is such a joy & blessing to me, like a prayer being answered, Praise God....Socking our feet and hand in the acid water will improve skin, I am sure w constant consumption of the Alkaline water, my health status will eventually reach it's optimum level!! We r really excited about this new discovery!!!
Called Jiau last week & spoke to both Sok Hua & Jiau. She seems 'prepared', w some normal new mom's anxiety but one thing for sure: she/they r Happy & Excited!!(the fruit of Love, how precious & priceless) I am so happy for them, wish them well & will pray for them. May God bless, guide & be w them as they venture into this new experience & chapter of their life!!!
Tan Teck have the Company's grand openning buffet on the 01/19 (Sat), called his hse on Fri & spoke to sis-in-law for a long time. My brother is doing well in the business, good for him. Indeed, he is a pioneer/legend in the spare parts world ha..ha....
The 2008 election fever is going really strong & competitive, Andrew watch or record them all the time, as he is always very interested in politic. (when we were courting, he shared w me about his interest, dream & vision in 'politic' all the time) Even now, he is still very interested & keen reg all political issues....That's my husband: Me, Stock market/Investment, Nursing and Politics hi..hi....

This is my 1st blog for the New Year !! Happy New Year to myself, Hing & all my loved ones....Well, I was admitted to Westchester Medical Center fr 23rd till yesterday, spending the end of the year in hosp w much feeling of sadness, anger & depression!! While everybody is celebrating & cheering, there I was, feeling so lonely, bored & angry.....
Started w fever & recurrent of ?? celulitis in my R leg (ankle was red, swallen & painful w few tiny sores) Went to the ER & of course, w a hx of chronic illness, they would not let me leave until and unless a full exam had been carried out...I spent the night in ER & finally went to the unit only at 6am on 12/24/07!!!
The same series of blood tests, X-rays & special scan was being done slowly. Coinside w the holidays, where there is not so many Drs or not so many Deprs were being operated, I spent most of the 10 days, waiting, waiting & waiting.... (Then the blood test showed taht I hv MRSA in my blood, just like the last 2 times!!) I started on ab treatment. Time was so bored, slow & awful during those agony moments....Deep inside I wish that I can scream, yell & blame 'somebody' to release my frustration. But, all I could do was to wait, be patient & reassured myself of God's promises...Still hold on to God's love & the rainbow that He has created in my life amidst all the trial & tribulation journey that I hv gone thru...That was how I got thru' the 10 long days w-out going 'crazy'. Thank You God for being there for me the entire time, comforted and sustained me. I continue to thank Him for all the good as well as the bad times, for he si with me, no matter what, where & how....Prise Him.
I thank God for Hing's great care & sending friends, neighbour, Pastor, church members to visit, pray & cheer me up, their present really meant a great deal to me & I sincerely appreciated their kind thoughts, prayers & encouragement...
I was so Happy to finally returned home at 6pm yesterday!! So was Hing, he called in sick just to stay home w me....I hv to continue w IV ab treatment via a Picc line in my L upper arm, at home for 4 week so as to make sure all the MRSA bacteria in my blood r being 'killed' once & for all, never recurrent again!!Hing will be admin the ab for me once a day & blood test in between by the visiting nurse.
I read the blogs of my loved ones & was so happy that all of them hv had a wonderful time being together.... I called eldest sister & shared w her, she was shocked & saddened by the news & comforted me thru' the phone...Told me that Rena was not feeling well, H/A again)Called Rena, her maid saied that she had just returned fr the Dr's office for severe headache & was sleeping.... Will talked to her later. Hope she will recover soon. May God bless her, gives her strength & heal her...
Tomorrow, we will be going for a planned mini vacation/getaway to AC.... I am really excited & being at home I am 100% better already, slept very well, peaceful & sweetly last night, am now feeling 'normal', strong, energetic , active & percky again.(Doing things always make me feel good & happy!!) Hosp really make one depressed & become 'more' sick!!! I will hv no part to do w it again. God be w me & heal me, Amen.

update - 11/08/2007
Today, Catherine moved her last stash of stuff over to her new apartment, at last, it is final...Sad to think that there is no sight of her returning fr work every night at 10pm!!! Maybe, she will never come to see me again....(I don't know abt her, but I am going to miss her, as I always like company, fr now on, whenever Andrew goes to work, I am actually 'alone' in this big house, all by myself !!) They started moving immediately Andrew came back fr work. I felt really sad & somehow, tears rolled down my cheek w-out reason, guess, all the 'dreadful events' that had happened for the past 10 yrs of living together still lingered in me deeply...
The good & the bad, they r alll over now, but seeing us Not talking & go separate way after being relative & living together for 10 long years....make no sense at all & they really hurts!! The worse thing is, despite not talking, ignoring, avoiding me, she still care in her own way. I am still finding it hard to understand & comprehand what is actually in her heart & mind... I wish she is one who can & will share, but that definately is not her...She keeps everything tightly inside the little world of her, where nobody can intrude, explore or penetrate into!!
All these while, I guess Andrew is taking the hardest hit in his heart, it was really very difficult for him, being in between us, wife & sister!!
So, now that she is living on her own, which she had been wanting to. It is the solution for the constant conflict & misunderstanding, esp between us, the 2 ladies... I am sure she will be happier w her own freedom in her own place. I only wish that one day, I can & will be able to see & visit her in her new apartment....Afterall, we r relative. I hope that someday, we will be back to where we first begin....
I will continue to pary for her everyday, may God lead & guide her in everything that she does, keep her safe & healthy, most of her, provide her with happiness, thankfulness, peace, Joy, love & contentment in life....
I was wheezing, coughing & unable to sleep for few days, so I decided to go to ER for emergency tx.. Was admitted for observation & respiratory tx & given Ab, felt much better & was discharged the next day, the 9th of Nov....Thank God for healing me !!

12/03/2007 Today is my BD.... We hv a simple celebration, went for a Braodway show w dinner included. Andrew invited a collegue of his, Fay Smith to join us cos' she has the same BD as me!! She was really touched & surprised when Andrew invited her s
times ago & I learned about it only recently... It is a surprised!!
We had a great time, Fay is fr Jamaica, no boy friend yet, so she was thrillled to be in our company... She is very tall, 6'2", wow!! A very sweet, pleasant & courteous young lady (we look like a migit in front of her hi...hi......) Kept thanking us & she surprised me by giving me a gift, a big bouquet of skin care products. Very thoughtful of her...The show, dancing spectacular was entertaining & the dinner was good too, delious & yummy!!

It was a very meaningful & wonderful day of our life.... We were being recommeded, aanounced & accepted as a member of the Little Monut Zion Holy Church!! A house of God where we can come together w all other members to worship, praise & glorify our mighty God!!
Everyone came forward to welcome & congratulate us. Sharing our joy and commitment, hugging us w the love of God!
Andrew took the microphone to start sharing as requested by Pator Davis. He statrted by saying: usu my wife is the speaker, but today I am going to share ...... He shared a really wonderful, powerful, challenging & motivated testimony which indeed had made everyone 'cry' or 'sob'. He shared about all the tough, tormenting years of life/health challenge & ordeal that we hv been thru thus far till we found God!! He was so brave & determined to shared & was choked w tears several times while recalling those fearful, dreadful uncertained & helpless moment that he went thru all by himself, w-out anyone to seek help or turn to....Witnessing & sharing my suffering silently but courageously, never giving up on me!!(eventough he was told many times that I was in a fatal medical state after undergoing several of the needed procedure & surgry!!!)
On the night when I was admitted to Hosp w severe confusion as a rsult of amonia toxicity & was saying repeatedly: I have Jesus in me.....when Pastor Christian was praying w me, he knew that God is the Answer!
So, my living here today, waking up seeing flowers, smelling air & touch life and most improtantly seeing Andrew everyday is a MIRACLE fr God!! W-out Him I would hv been gone long long ago... I praise God for every breadth that I take & every single moment of my life....God had given me & Andrew a second chance....
I was sobbing as he shared & was very surprised & proud of him for sharing that w the whole congregation...I shared after that to thank God for answering my prayer in leading us to this wonderful church, I had been searching/praying for one since we became christian last Sept, visited a few churches, but I like this LMZ Church the very 1st time I came, they were very nice, united, warm, personal & holy people...Also, God had answered my prayer in leading Andrew to join me in church, and my prayer is being answered, Praise God!! We will continue to grow in this church, spiritually & phsicaally, following His guidance & calling for us faithfully....
The whole congregation was so glad and prised God for our wonderful, powerful, real life miracle testimony fr our almighty God....
We came home feeling very Happy, Glad & Thankful for our life & blessing that we rec'd fr God in leading us back to His Kingdom. Amen

Today, 10/30/2007 is our 18th Anniversary... Can't believe it was 'that long' since we said 'I do'. We actually celebrated yesterday as Andrew will be very busy today. (go for a preceptor class fr 8am till 4pm, followed by night duty fr 7 pm to 7am tomorrow!!) As for me, I hv another 2 days of jury duty, ie today and last day on Thurs....Then I'll be 'free' fr jury duty for 6 years!!!
So, we had a quiet, simple & relax evening, celebrating the 18th long years that we had had together as husband & wife... We talked, shared, laughed, reminised and counted our Blessings thus far.... It was a wonderful times of togetherness.
We thanked the good Lord for all that He had done for us. Esp that He had answered my ernest prayer for Andrew's spiritual growth... Andrew has been attending church services w me for 2 months, eventhough most times he was tired & sleepy after returning fr his night duty, He enjoys & likes the sermon, worship & being there to feel the Holy spirit's flow & guidence. God has bless him, opens his eyes & mind to realised His greatness, promises, guidence, love & mighty power. Indeed He is a miraculous God!!
Andrew is also very supportive & encouraging in my church activities...In fact, we will be submmiting our application for membership to the church this week, I can't thanked God enough for that... After all the blessing, promises, love, healing and mercy that He had given to us, there is no hinderence to stop us fr devoting our life to God's grace & calling... A new chapter of our life has began, this time, it is going to be fruitful, righteous & Best....
Our love, trust, loyalty & respect for each other remain unchanged & they hv grown stronger, sweeter & deeper as times go by. It's amazing that till todate he is still the same person who can make me Laugh & Smile at life w compassion.... That was the best thing that happened in my life, otherwise w all the many years of struggle, fight, challenges fr all the medical ordeal, I will never make it till todate! I thanked God for giving me Andrew constantly... He is my pillar, fortress, inspirtion & motivation in life....
Reflecting, this year was such a great one for me in all area. I am feeling strong, happy, energetic, active, lively and looking forward to everyday w positive, assuring attitude. A total good and bleesed improvement & changed...It is God that had make all these possible, as nothing is impossible with Him, Amen...
May we continue to grow in Him and bulid our foundation in Him as husband & wife, both spiritually & phisically. Honoring, praising & worshipping Him all the days of our life....

Went for Jury duty. Today we hv 4 cases on drug dealing/procession. All t count 'true bill'! It was another short seesion day, we were dismissed at 1pm. Everybody is Happy!!

Yesterday was a great day for us. The commissioner & Mr Anthoy fr the building Dept came to inspect the basement & 'sub-basement' after we got the White Plains Mayor's support & intervened in our home situation...(Thanks to Cat, it is her 'good' acquitence & relationship w the Mayor that helped us to get the support & direction fr him. (he had told the commissioner to check & look into our situation & help to resolve them...

The inspection was a favorable one. Everything that was once considered as 'violation' by the building Dept r all OK now...The basement is allowed to live & sleep & later may apply for it to be legalised... Then eventually apply to convert it into 3 family home!!

10/09/2007 It is 1 am in the morning. Went to MS, not feeling tired nor sleepy at all, after watching/catching up w most of the past week's new falls preview, I called sis Tan Mooi to chat. Haven't called for a while.
We talked fro a long time. Apparentlt, bro in law is showing a lot of progress/mprovement w the new health products, Ca-Can, a product of USA, fr California!! Am happy to hear that. Hope that it will elimimate the need for surgery w this product. Will check it out... They hv joined as a member, so I urged them to recommend to their friends who hv health issues. It is also a direct selling, so in a way, they may benefits & cut down on their cost. It cost $180/2 weeks. Rather expensive for the medium income gp....
Jut Go wanted & sh try it for her terrible mgraine, but due to the cost, will let Ah Tiam to take for his numbness in his hands, which had been suffered for yrs!! (Well, if only he can STOP smoking, then he would't need that for himself!!) Wondered when & how 'long' will he realized the truth about his role in supporting the family & really make the dicision to quit the heavy/chained smoking habit of his... Well, he never did make an effort to quit, at least for his loved ones, moreover they r facing a soon coming finacial 'crisis' after bro's company moved to it's new venue... He will be jobless then, and yet hv not plan as to what the future lies??!!! I feel really 'sorry' for Jut Go, all these yrs, she worked hard & sacrificed for the family more than he did... Guess I hv to do s'thing to help her out. I hate to see them living like that, a family w-out much emotional support, sharing, understanding & motivation....God pls help me to this right!!
Glad that an intereated caller for the co-op. Will come to meet w us timorrow. So my 'job' tomorrow is to check & clean it (if needed)b4 the meeting. Then I hv to go for dental appt, followed by Jury duty at 1.30pm. (This will be the 3rd time I am being called, after 2 postponement), guess they just won't let me go, no way to eacape.

It's Sunday! another week had gone by swifly... Times seem to passed so quickly w-out us knowing....B/S was high, so I went for a walk to get a Mac egg w sausage (last day of the promotion coupon!!) When I came home the B/S reading had dropped to normal!!?? Wonder what is going on inside me...Well, if exercise helps, I will definately do it faihfully. Share w Andrew about it. He said it is great!!(? wheatgrass juice & Aloe Vera)
Went to church w Andrew & had a good time worshipping God. Followed by nice fellowship w the members after the service. We invited Pastor Davis to bless our new home on next Wed and he gladly accepted. He is indeed a great servant of God. Strong foundation & knowledge in his service to God. Everybody like him...His sermon r always powerful, realistic, to the point, soul/faith serching and at the end of the day, draw all of us to grow closer, stronger & commited to the Lord. Praise God for him!!
Spoke to Rena this afternoon, she was at Kwan's house, kids having their hair cut. We had a good chat as we hv been missing each other many times due to her busy schedule & commitment between the kids & job. It's not easy, am so 'lucky' that I don't hv to worry about all these 'routine' in life now...(u can call it 'happy, good' or 'sad, not great' ??!!) Being a' lady of leisure' is actually nice, easy and most of all stress free ha..ha....That's the Best I can say to console/convince myself about my life as it is now....It is God's will and I hv accepted it, as He knows the Best... I can't thank Him enough for all the miracles that He had done for me till todate...My life now, truly is a Blessing fr Him!! For me, to be able to wake up to see every sun rise is the Greaatest gift that I hv rec'd fr Him....
Rena had sold their condo & I am very happy for them. We had steamed fish fr Cat's reat after church w lots of other dishes. We had planned to meet up w the Zhangs to celebrate moon cake festival tomorrow night. (They hv to cancel it last week due to kids having to go for their ice hockey practice). The moon is still very round & big, beautiful & breath taking ....
Called eldest sis & chat over the phone for a long time. Catching up as I hv not called for few days. Sleepy as I slept late last night, talking w Rena till 1.30am!! Andrew called fr work, chat for a while & will go to sleep soon....

I called eldest sis aat 8am, she had just returned fr he morning walk, good for her....Told me that everyone is still sleeping. Well, Sat, what is better than spending half the day in bed, resting, relaxing & enjoying yr bed sweet bed!! Well, the moon cake festival will be on Tues. Tonight she will be going for a 'yet kwong fei' organised by the MCA. How nice, I hv missed this type of fun for such a long time, thinking back, our childhood, moon cake festival has so much ot fun, reality & innocent, making own lantern, walk in a big group around the woods, houses, play ground & esp the 'yet kwong fei' is great time of get together....Nowadays, apparently those nice atmosphere don't exist anymore!!!
We had moon cake, Andrew's sis bought 1 box w doubled egg yolk. I 'sapu' most of the salty egg, as they r my favorite hi..hi...By the way, the moon is really round & nice over here, I am sure it looks the same over there in my faraway sweet homeland... Or maybe, as people always think "the moon in the western world is 'bigger' & 'rounder' ha..ha.... " Well, the festive season & mood make me started to miss home .... Wish we can be there w all of u to watch & admire the big, round, beautiful and romantic moon together!! (hopefully we can view the 'historic /tale' couple living happily in the moon...)

Today I started on a new medication, Letairis 5mg tablet and said goodbye to Tracleer! Dear God, I pray that this new med is the answer to my prayer.... I hv Faith & am so thankful for all the healing that hv happened to me thus far, only You r able to perform a miracle like that.... Bringing me fr the edge of death to life, a complete & promising New Life!!!
Attended the Diabetic management seminar at Westchester Med Center. It was very good & so glad that I was there, learn so much, so detail & had indeed improve my understanding & knowledge on the new trend in D/M treatment & management...On top of that, the meals that was served were great & ample, yummy.... The seminar was a whole day event, fr 8am to 4pm. Was tired after that as I hv not been attending 'long' hr lectures like this for a long, long time hi..hi...Well, though I no longer working, I still hv to keep learning & keep my knowledge growing , up to date so as to expand my horizon in life... Anyway, life is an on going, non stop learning process & journey...
Drank my wheatgrass juice, it taste good. It is a great stuff, the many books on wheatgrass that Andrew bought help us to appreciate it's marvelous healing properties.... We r waiting for the planting kit to arrive so that we can start planting our own in-door wheatgrass w organic soil ASAP... We r actually 'head over hill' about it ha...ha...(It's has the similar component & structure as the human Red blood cells!!) Who knows. one day, we may be able to create RBC fr it ??

It's Sat again... Time flies by so quickly, it is the mid of Sept already!! Thank God for another new day, however, it started w a sky, followed by drizzling rain all morning. I actually planned to join the apple picking trip organised by the LMZ Church. By 10 am, it was still rainning, so I didn't go, am pretty sure that the trip is being cancelled, will find out tomorrow in church.
Theresa & her grandson, Chesaia came to visit & I started preparing for the BBQ early in the morning... By 12noon, the sun appeared & was bright & sunny. They came at 2pm, & we had a good time together... She admired & jealous w my fruits, plants & flowers. Gave her 4 large tomatoes to take home, she was very happy indeed!!
The Bread store business came to a hold ofter much discussion & analysing... Alan & Kwan went to check it out & they found that the deal does not worth $150,000/- at all & more importantly, we hv No clue as to who he is & what this guy is 'up' to, (being so young, 42 yrs old & in the prime of his life w such a prosperous business in his hand, why is he selling all his good fortune & hard work away??!!) s'thing fishy could be going on.... For our safety & propection, we decided to put it aside & will look again for more favorable investment in the future...
Talk to sis & bro-in-law reg having his knee check thoroughly & if necessary, which I think is the Best solution for him right now, a Knee replacement surg will fefinately do him good, instead of lingering, dragging & procastinating the matter.. (for fear of financial & physical status)
I reassured him that at Burke Rehab Hosp that I work, I see all these pts day in & out, they all did wonderfully well went home happy, glad & eventually back to routine walking, pain free!!!

Today is a GREAT DAY for both of us, praise God!! Hing returned fr work at 8am and told me he is coming to church w me... I was so happy & excited as this is what I've been praying since I attended The Little Mount Zion Church on 7/18/07 at White Plains....
We had a wonderful time in the singing & praising session & the sermon by Pastor Davis was on Jesus Christ, the Fixer of all mankind, all mighty, promising & perfect... We hv had few issues that hv arise this week, 1st was the inspection of basement, that needed architect plan approval & then the request of 'checking' into our actual basement for any cooking activities(which r not allowed for basement, only allow to live there!!!) After much thought, we hv planned to remove the stove fr Tracy, since she was away for more than 1 month for back surg. We hv arrange for the inspector to come on Mon & hopefully that the removal will satisfy him & no more further issues like who & when the basement was built & design... (if he questioned that, we def will be in trouble, then we will rather apply the for hse to be approved as a 3 family hse & no more fear or headahe!!) But a lot of $$$ will hv to be spent, we paryed about it.
Then, last night, Tracy came home fr her mom/s after her surh last Fri!!! We were sruorised & loat as to what to do next?? Andrew wanted to discuss the matter w her, after praying, he changed his idea & instead will cancel the appt w the inspector & do it later when Tracy is feeling much better... but it is going to be rather 'messy' & 'diffi' issue to deal w her...
The service was really great today. A spanish couples, who attend the evening Spanish service, whom I hv never met, req & rec'd annoiting for their 29th wedding anniversary!! After the annointment ceremony, the man req to invite us forward cos they were led by the Holy Spirit to pray for us!!
We were surprised & thought that it was a mistake. Then, the Spanish pastor came personally to invite us... So, we were well prayed & blessed by them as well as the whole congregation!! It amazing how real & beautiful the feeling & realization of God's present among us.. Praise God & His Holy Name above!!! Andrew was touched & moved by the Holy Spirit & I see tears of joy in him as for me, I kept on 'crying' prsing, thanking God for ALL that He had done for us through the year....
Also, tomorrow (9/10/2007) mark the 1 year anniversary of us converting & accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior & Lord... Began our daily life journey w God as His well blessed & loved children!!! Aleluyah, Amen....
As we looked back, this has been a wonderful year for us, phisically, mentally, emotionally,life as husband & wife, spritually, socially & most impt for me is the improved, good health & Healing that had happened to me as a whole... I hv never feel so heaithy, strong, active & energetic before, everything is so good, promising & beautiful, I hv been looking forward into each new day w amazingly strong & positive attitude... Thank God & we believe that the sermon today about serrendering everything/matter into the Fixer's hand is the answer & relief to all that we r experience & going thru now. Keep praying, trusting & wait upon Him faithfully, the answer will be review according to His timing & guidence. We sh hv no more doubt nor feeling of dispair/helplessness, for He is our Controller, Amen!!!
I went for the evening service by the Music ministry, it was another marvelous time w God, singing, praying, worshipping & glorifying Him, almighty!!

The swallen & painful lower gum infection is getting worse....started on Ab w-out much effect. Saw the 'relieve' dentist who said that my X-rays did not showed any sign of gum inection & I gotta see a specialist to hv an MRI to confirm!!) I went to the Urgent care & was referred to an ENT, who immediately confirm that my lower gum r badly infected!! Satated on another very potent Ab & today returned to see him. Not much relief, still very swallen & painful.... So, he performed the I & D with mod amt of pus discahrge were being drained... After the procedure, by the afternoon, the swelling has all 'gone' & no more pain...I went shopping after that!! (No more big, swallen, rounded face hi..hi..)
The 2nd basement inspection came at 10am... Waned us to get am achitect to 'design' the wall & recommended one for us...Cat went w them while inspecting, so I stayed upstairs, also I ve just returned fr the ENT office. The inspector now wanted to check our 'actual' basement... We definately r ot 'ready' to show it to him, but he said other day will be fine, he claimed that he wanted to make sure it is safe & no cooking being done there!!! Well there's no way to escape, so we hv to remove the stove on Sun, since Tracy is still no around, and get him to come ack on Mon to check it out....
Rather tensed & stressful matter lying ahead!! However, we sat down & pray for God's guidence in these matter..He lives here w us & he is the Maser of the hse, most importantly He loves us & we love Him & hv great Faith in Him!! He will perform Miracles, just like He always does...We can only keep praying & waitin Faithfully for him to guide & lead us thru' these... He never fails.... Amen

Praise God for answering my prayer!! Rena told me on Mon that she got a new job as a Property Agent for a big hseing developer... I hv suggested to her this option, as well being a auto insurance agent s'time b4....(even I am interested in being a property agent, I hv actaully purchased few books to prepare myself for the test, but did not get into doing it yet!!) Well, what's new... Proscatination is alw the answer & excuse hi..hi...
At least she can get herself a target & goal in life over there in M'sia. Home sweet home is where she sh belong....Coming to America is not ideal and not the solution for her, what she needs is Love & Support fr her loved ones...If she is determined enough, I believe she will make it BIG there!!! We r very happy & glad for her.
Will start her training on Tues, I wish her all the Best & Success in all her future endevous> I knoe God will Guide, Keep & Lead her along her way to the TOP!! Will continue to pary for her....

Haven't been consistence w the Blog!! Guess I'll post only when I feel like.(eg impo events, happy, glad as well as not-so-happy incidence, (hopefully not too much of that!) As I envision everyday to be GREAT & Smooth sailing w laughters, joy & contentment...)
Today, one day after Labour Day, for America, is a really Happy & Relief day for us... We passed the Building Dept's inspection on the renovation/changes as required to our 'concealed basement' '(Discovered it's existance after we bought the hse, it was indeed an unbelievable & great discovery for us then. Followed by many months of works, explaination, paper works, & $$$ in renovating & fixing it up so as to pass the Dept's inspection...) Thank God for leading us thru' this stressful event in our purchase of this new home!! Finally the headache & worried is over & we can be sure & relax peacefully in our new home now.... (Now, we can claimed this hugh basement as our added Bonus/property & can be very useful for us!!)went to our favorite Sushi Restaurant, The Season to celebrate this great event....
We were tired after that, (went to MS yesterday). So, we napped, I napped for 2 hrs & Andrew for about 4 hi..hi... well rested now, he has just left for work at 11pm (NYH)
We again took more pics this afternoon, can't let the beauty of our 'green thumb' effort be forgottened hi...hi.. (these day I hv been posting for pics like a 'movie star', I don't mind, cos I am one who alw like to post for & take pics. Then be very happy to see myself looking happy & joyful in them ha...ha... Those were great & memorable moments in Life which I will cherished forever...

It is 11.00pm. I did not post anything cos the computer got 'frozen'!! Had bld work done & rec s/c Procrite as my Hb dipped slightly to 9.8, the Dr wants to keep mine at 10 or above... The dipped could be due to the bleeding episodes that happened everytime I had the dental work?? However, the rest of bld results r good! Req for HbA1c to be done to check my sugar control, as it may be due to elevated sugar that caused the delay in my gum healing too.... (I hv to returned again after Wed's apptm, cos after drilling more, the dentist found that the gum wasn't healing compltely yet...I was really miserable & upset that evening over it!!!)
Today, I called the Nurse, he told me that my HbA1c is 5.9 which is Normal & actually is good! After hearing that I felt 100% better, relief & glad.... Praise God.
I washed & cleaned the patio as well the patio set. Very tired after that but felt good to see them neat, nice & clean.. Birds ate all the feeds that I gave in my bird feeder & r all coming around me for More hi..hi... I realised that they overate & r really 'fat', so I hv to stop feeding them for few days...Over wt is Not Good!!(that explained why a dead bird was found inside the feeder!! too fat to fly out !!??)
Ironed clothes for 2 hrs after that, was sweating due to the heat outside but I felt good cos I hardly/don't swaet easily. It was a good feeling!!
We went shopping followed by a delicious Chinese meal fr Cat's restaurant at our backyard w all the cleaned furniture...Hing went to work at NYP Hosp at 11pm. He downloaded more songs into my Ipod.
Tried calling Rena & Mooi this am, but nobody answer. Will try again after this.

Continue:- well, I accidentally saved /published the post!! Hv been gargling w peridex mouth rinse, still not too good, hope that today, he is able to do it (L upper bridge x 3).
It is a very nice, sunny & hot day. Gotta stay indoor to keep cool & Hing is sleeping, I hv the whole hse all to myself...)Listening & enjoying the music fr my very new Ipod...
I rec my Ipod (green) yesterday & Hing had downloaded more than 500 songs for me. The sound system is really great compared to the MP 3, I am going to love it & he taught me to do all the funtions that we can do w it(create playlist, Artist, Albumd, download songs... Got to learn more things now (after learning about the use of my digital photo album, sending attchments, download pics into computer, changing screen saver, now hv to start w this new task!!) They will certainly keep me 'busy' hi..hi...
Christine e-mail & said that she will help in getting elder sis Visa application. I hope that it will be easy to get done, as we like to hv her visit us here soon...
Rena is very keen in coming over here to give it a 'try'...(since the kopitiam plan ia on hold now!!) I really don't know what is the Best to do now...Anyway, will check it out for her about the working opportunity here....

Today is 29th of Aug, 2007. I finally pick up my pcs & started to write in my Blog, (which I created in May last year w only 2 miserable blogs in it!! What a shame...)The fact was I am more used to using e-mail & not used to 'Change'....or just too lazy to put more effort into it)Now that I see & read more about it, I want to make a 'come back' & post all my memories, dreams, hope, life & daily activities into it & share them w all my loved ones....Also, to keep all the good & bad events in life in check!! In reading/doing so, it will help me to improve, correct, visualise, analyse, encourage, search & motivate myself to a better person and a richer life w quality and pleasure...
I hv to traced back to the original Blog that Christine had set up for me then and re-create a new Blog A/c. Wow, it took almost 2 hrs to do all that, (serve me right!!) yet I didn't give up and I finally did it right & got all my Blogs posted back into the new A/c....(by the way, only 2 of them hi..hi...)
Since it is more than a year, I guess I will write a gist of what had happened during that period & then keep it up to date the best I can!! (even 1 sentence a day will be accepted ha...ha...,just keep posting & DON'T forget!!)
By the way, the very 1st incident that happened this morning was my washing machine overflow!! I left for my garden session, after setting the wash. Check in 1/2 hr & was shocked that my living room & part of the bedroom was 'flooded'... I cleaned & mopped to the best that I can till Hing came home fr work at 8am. He was shocked too! We got it serviced last week & then this incident happened... together we clean & mop more & tried to contact the guy that did the service, couldn't get him on time, as he has another job to go to, so will come this afternoon to fix it!!!
Then I sun/air dried my colored load of clothes, at my neigbor's backyard & the whites have to be done later!! Hope it will be fixed quickly.
I watered the flowers & plants, pulled some weeds & trimmed my flowers. Then I took pics of my bunch of hugh tomatoes... Finally, 2 of them r turning yellow/orange, we were very excited as we hv been watching them everyday. Waiting to pick them fr the vine & also to prevent the 'smart' & 'snecky' squirrer fr getting to them b4 us!! (that will really 'kill' us if it happened ha..ha...) I think tomorrow or this afternoon we will hv the very 1st taste of our very 1st precious harvest experience ...(everyone replied & said that we really hv great green thumbs!!)
I stir fried the zuchinni that my back neighbor gave me. It was very crunchy, freash & tasty. I ate almost 1/2 of it(it was a very big one too... somehow 'things' over here seem to be unusually big, fat, large & different ha..ha...)
Then I sat to re-creat my New Blog & posted this... At 4.30pm, I hv a dental apptm. (The 3rd time, it was rescheduled twice cos I bled a great deal every time. Hv been garggling w

Andrew called at 6.45am & said that he is feeling fresh and wide awake. Felt like going to the gym b4 he settled to sleep. I had just woke up when he called. Quickly had my b'fast, cereal, banana w flexseed & milk. Very satisfy & good b'fast!! I LOVE B'fast.....
Do stretching, bending, walking, wt lifting (5 lbs wt now!!!)at the gym for about 40min. Felt really good after that. I wt 100 lbs today, very happy!
Went shopping at CVS, my favorite store w May. (sis-in-law) as usual, bought lots of stuff as there r good discount & nice things. Take May to restaurant afte shopping, as usual, insisted that I hv lunch there, so I ordered roast beef w rice noodle soup dish.. Spicy & delicious
Forecast to rain in the afternoon, the sun disppeared when I reached home at 1pm, dark clous showing up slowly but no sign of rain. Called the Zhangs, if it is not rainning in the eve, I maybe dropping by to see them & hv some singing & chit-chat Andrew will be working tonight 7pm - 7am shift.
Add 3 more gold fish to my aquarium, hv so much Fun watching my little swimmers, hope that they will click & live happily together!!!!

Dear Joanne,

Spoke to yr dad few days ago. Also had a good chat w mom. Dad mentioned about the filter ‘machine’ part that he wanted to get fr US, u e-mailed to us) I was sick then & we hv No clue as to what it was, so we did not do anything to it & the e-mail were gone. You sh detailed the machine description, type & all necessary info to uncle Andrew, so that he can post it in the e-Bay for adv. In that way, company/carrier of the product can get to know what u guys wanted & contact us & then eventually get connected w u guy, right? Cos we r real ‘dummies’ when come to this field.

Nowadays, everybody is doing o-line shopping via e-bay. (even at work!) I don’t know much about it & hv never try it. Everytime I needed s’thing, Andrew will get it for me. Am I lucky, lazy/slow/too dependent or what!!

Christine had been checking on my Blog performance. Sorry to tell u guys that I haven’t been feeling good for the past month. Had been visiting the hemathologist as my red blood & white bld count kept dropping. I was treated w I/V Iron, (suppose to hv 10 doses of it in 10 weeks) as well as given 3 shot of very potent, costly injections, hoping to boost up my bld cts. But they didn’t help. My bld ct will go up after the shot ( admin in 3 different week) & then drop again after few days!

I am constanly feeling tired, lethargic, low energy lever & SLEEP a lot. As soon as I lie down, I will fall fast into a very deep sleep. It was scary, These r S & Sx of Anaemia!! I was upset, worried & scared, afraid that I may dev some blood dysplasia(condition) The DR finally decided to perform bone marrow aspiration procedure to find out the cause of all these problem.

I hv been trying to get away fr this painful procedure as I had one done some 5 yrs ago. The pain experienced remained vividly & fearfully inside me…. But I hv no choice and got it done last Wed.

The report turned out to be Normal & I am only mildly Iron deficient! What a relief after I heard the news. So, the Drs all confirmed that my blood condition was probably cause by the exacerbation/relapsed of Lupus!! I hv been on a very low dose of Steroids (Prednisone) for about 8 months. (5 mg a day) Now apparently I am ‘underdosed’ Lack of steroids medication caused the relapsed that affected my bld ct this time. The Lupus can affect any organ!!)

So, the usual treatment is to increase my steroid medication to 20mg a day. (s’time needed higher dose to get the Lupus under control!). Thank goodness it was only 20mg this time. Hope that this dose will take care of it & then be tapered soon. (I hate the many bad side effects that this ‘wonder; drug produced.) No matter ow hard & desparate to get rid of the use of steroid in my life, guess it is No going to happened. Every time I go down to too Low, I will get sick again. The fact that I always refused to accept is that I just hv to continue to take it & make it part of my life…

Believe it or not, I felt improvement soon after the increased dose!! Tiredness, lethargy & Sleepiness has lessened and able to stay focus….Yesterday I went back for f/u & my bald ct had improved. No need e for further I/v Iron nor the special injection!! I was happy & glad!! Otherwise, prior th this I was doing very well, active. Happy & motivated.
Well, I am up-beat w high spirit again now, had been staying outdoor more often, doing more exercise & the greatest joy was that I started swimming again last month, my only passion & exercise that I am pretty good at… (I was told that I may not be able to swim again due to the increased pressure in my lungs, due to the Pulmonary hypertension that diagnosed after the surg) I was so upset & mad when they 1st told me the news. That day I was crying in the pool when I learned that I can swim again… It was a marvelous feeling. Hv been swimming since & am trying to increased my speed to swim like I used to be….A fish ha…ha,,,,,

Guess, very soon u guys can ‘peep’ into my Blog again. Oh yes, I hv set up a Gmail following Christine insructions, however, now I don’t know how/where to get ito it!!! Sorry for being so slow & for bothering you….I need more coaching & help.
Had just watced the American Idols semi final. This programme had been a HIT among all the TV shows.Making Fox 5 No 1 in TV rating!!! Millioms of viewers go wild & crazy over it. I followed it closely too. Was sorry to see Christ Doughty being voted out. I miss him… The result just came in, know what, Elliot was voted out. So the finalist r Kat & Taylor. A big night and a new star will be born next Tuesday. This programme really help to produced great, Real & outstanding new talent!!!

We went for 2 movies yesterday, the Posaidon & United 93. we watched 2 disasters, one under the sea & one in the Air. The united 93 was a difficult & heart breaking movie to watch….I sensed tears in my eyes as I watched it…

Today is the 19th of May. Hv not been up-beat for a while due to problem w my blood count!!! As usual, fear, worry & scared of what was happening to me AGAIN??!! Rather restless, unsettled & lost my focus in doing things. Anemia make one feel very tired, lethargic, weak & just want to lie down & sleep, sleep, sleep....I live like a zombi.
Finally, had the excruciating painful bone marrow aspiration procedure & found out w great relief that my bone marrow is fuctioning Perfectly well.. No blood dysplasia at all!!!! The fact was, I am experiencing an exacerbation of Lupus, for being underdose of Prednison. To solve the problem I hv to increase the dose to 20mg daily. Well, as usual, the inflammtion to my blood will be under controlled pretty quickly. Hope that the high dosage can be reduced eventually till a low mainteance dose again soon. I just hate & can't bear going thru all the horrible side effects that this 'wonder' drug produced!
Anyway, am glad that we found out the cause of my low bld ct. Got to tolerate the side effects temperary so that I will be well soon...

Today I created a Blog for myself w Christine & Joanne's help. It's a trend for the new generation, let's give myself a try. I wish to Reflect back on my life as well as to ensure myself positively Moving On to a More meaningful, motivating, happy, healthy & prosperous Life ahead.... Will try to bring back as much of memories of the past 'the good and the bad' as possible....(That mean digging into my old, occasional hand written dairies. that I 've been keeping. ) Wow! this is a great Commitment and new experience that I think I will enjoy doing!! I like to write & am pretty good at it, so, let's prove it to myself...

Today is Labour Day in M'sia. It was a sunny, gorgeous Spring day. I went for a good, slow walk and then sat in the park after that, Not knowing that I sat there for about 1 hr & when I went home, Hing' was shock, as I Got Burned bad on my face, I am looking just like my last name, TAN!! Gotta be careful & never forget my santan lotion & hat now.....
